Covid-19 Relief

Thanks to the City of San Antonio and District 5, we’ve received 500 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Kits to distribute to Westside small businesses.

Each kit includes one gallon of hand sanitizer, two face masks, a touchless thermometer and some helpful health and safety protocol fliers. By accepting the kit, business owners are taking the pledge to operate in a safe manner. Together, we will stay safe. Together, we will be greater than ever.

As Greater San Antonio business owners, we PLEDGE to:

Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis for businesses and non-profits with less than 25 employees. All registrants will be contacted individually to coordinate pick up or delivery. All businesses are now eligible to receive PPE on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Take the pledge and sign-up to receive your kit today!

Small businesses account for 97% of San Antonio’s employer firms. These same small, locally owned businesses have been among the hardest hit during the coronavirus pandemic, and we’ve allocated the resources to aid their progress through these hard times.

Here are some of the resources and programs available:

We’ve partnered with the LiftFund to elevate the Westside’s capital, education, support, and community resources. Together, we can help you successfully grow your business.

Westside Business Alliance & Legacy Corridor Initiative

We connect business owners to advocate networks that empower them to promote projects that positively impact their businesses and larger communities.

The Westside Business Alliance and Legacy Corridor Initiative were established in 2019 and designed to support coalition building in each of the 10 Legacy Corridors that include Buena Vista, Commerce, Laredo, Colorado, Nogalitos, Zarzamora, General McMullen, Culebra, Guadalupe, and Castroville.

In partnership with La Prensa Texas, a series of issues dedicated to highlighting the small businesses of these corridors as well as their history were published and archived.

Loan and Grant Programs

We’ve compiled a list of available loans and grants that can help you and your small business on the road to recovery.

Business Assistance Plan

Companies with a completed business plan are nearly twice as likely to successfully grow their business, compared to those without one.

Basila Frocks

This building has evolved from a mixed-use commercial space to a vibrant focal point of culture, music, and entertainment.

Affordable Housing

We’ve outlined housing communities on the Westside of San Antonio that are perfect for the growing families and individuals in our community.
